

Mad March Hare
March is almost over, phew, seems only yesterday I was buying Christmas presents. Madness! Even stranger, this long eared chap, Neville, bounced into my imagination and refused to leave until he existed on paper. So here he is and almost as an antidote to his controlling glare, as soon as he was completed I grabbed the acrylics, board and without any planning spent an evening simply messing with colour and patterns. The barn by Abney Moor
If you took a walk to near Abney Moor looking for this barn, you may struggle, you may not ... for a few tweaks and a lot of artistic licence have embellished this latest painting. However, if you do find it, you will hopefully appreciate why this little barn made such an impact and insisted on being in a painting! Question is, shall I start another, or finish one of the many I start before interest wanes simply because something juicier comes along.


Snow slows time
I should’ve gone to school today, well I did but was turned away, closed due to the heavy snowfall.
